  • What is the capacity and luggage limit of different services?

    goAuto can accommodate up to 3 passengers with minimal luggage space.

    goValue can accommodate up to 4 passengers with moderate luggage space.

    goStandard can accommodate up to 4 passengers with ample luggage space.

    goLarge can accommodate up to 6 passengers with significant luggage space.

    If you have larger or bulky luggage, it is recommended to inform the wride partner in advance by leaving a note in the ride request or contacting them directly through the app. This allows the Wride partner to prepare and ensure there is sufficient space for your luggage.

    Since wride is a software application provider enabling the wride partners to take ownership of their business so eventually it is the judgement of the wride partner that will matter the most. So, please coordinate with the Wride partner to avoid any inconvenience. 

  • Are pets allowed in a Wride vehicle?

App Usage and Features

  • How do I register in the Wride application?

    Download the Wride app, sign up with your phone number or email, and follow the prompts to complete your registration. 

  • How do I book a ride using the Wride app?

    Open the Wride app, enter your pickup and drop-off locations, select your ride type, and confirm your booking. 

  • Can I schedule a ride?

    Not yet, you cannot schedule a ride in advance through the Wride app, this feature will be released in future versions. 

  • Can I cancel my ride if the need arises?

    Yes, you can cancel your ride through the Wride app. 

  • Can I change my destination?

    No, you cannot change your destination during a ride in the current version of the app. 

  • Can I add additional stops to my trip?

    No, you cannot add additional stops to your trip through the current version of the Wride app.

  • How do I contact the Wride partner?

    You can contact the Wride partner through the Wride app using the in-app calling or messaging feature. 

  • Can I book a ride for friends and family?

    Yes, you can book a ride for friends and family using your Wride account. 

  • Can I track my ride through the Wride app?

    Yes, you can track your ride in real-time through the Wride app.

  • Will I see the estimated fare before confirming a ride?

    Yes, the estimated fare will be displayed in the app before you confirm your booking. 

  • Can the trip information be shared with my contacts?

    Yes, you can share your trip details with your contacts through the Wride app's sharing feature. 

  • What happens when the driver cancels the ride?

    If a driver cancels the ride, you will be notified, and you can book a new ride through the Wride app. 

  • Can I see the driver’s details before the ride?

    Yes, the driver’s details, including name, vehicle information, and rating, are available in the app once your ride is confirmed. 

Driver (Wride Partner) Related

  • How do I become a Wride Partner?

    Download the Wride Driver app, sign up, complete your profile, submit the required documents. Once approved, you can start accepting ride requests.

  • What to do if my Wride partner application is rejected?

    If your application is rejected, contact Wride support for assistance. They can provide information on the reason for rejection and next steps.

  • How will I know if my Wride partner application is approved?

    You will receive a notification in the Wride Driver app and a message once your application is approved.

  • As a Wride partner, how do I accept or reject a ride?

    You can accept or reject ride requests through the Wride Driver app. When a request comes in, simply tap the appropriate button. 

  • As a Wride partner, can I cancel a ride if the need arises?

    Yes, as a driver, you can cancel a ride if necessary.

Disputes

  • What to do if there is a dispute?

    If there is a dispute with your ride, contact Wride support through the app or our website. Our team will assist in resolving the issue.

Charges and Fees

  • Are there different pricing options for different vehicle types?

    Yes, Wride offers different pricing for different vehicle types owing to the fact that different vehicle options have different fuel consumption, space and other convenience features. They are categorised as -

    goValue - Hatchback

    goStandard - Sedan

    goLarge - SUV

    goAuto - Auto

  • How much are the wait time charges?

    Wride recommends that you are ready to board the ride within 5 mins of wride partners arrival or earlier if possible. However, there is no strict limit as Wride is a software provider and Wride partners are the actual business owners so upholding mutual convenience is a win-win outcome.

    If the ride has commenced then the time factor is in place for fare calculation so any stoppage time will be auto included in the fare.

  • How much is the cancellation charge?

    No, as of now we DO NOT charge any cancellation fee. Wride rely on the integrity of the passengers and trusts them to not cancel a ride if the Wride partner is on their way to pick them up.

  • Why is the fare higher at night?

    Night fares have a multiplier as defined by the rule of law to compensate drivers for working during less busy and potentially less safe hours.

  • How does the app calculate the fare?

    The fare is calculated based on the distance, time, and type of ride selected. Additional charges may apply for tolls, airport charges etc.

  • What extra charges are added during peak hours?

    Wride does not have any surge pricing during peak or non-peak hours.

  • Are there any extra charges levied on the ride?

    Extra charges may include tolls, airport charges etc.

  • Can I pay via the Wride app?

    Currently, Wride does not have a payment mechanism, it only supports cash or UPI payments directly to Wride partner.

  • Can I see a detailed breakdown of the final fare?

    Yes, a detailed breakdown of the fare is available in the Wride app at the end of the ride.

  • Can I download the receipt?

    Yes, you can download the receipt for your ride from the Wride app.

  • Can I split the fare with my friends?

    Currently, fare splitting is not available. Each passenger needs to pay the driver directly.

  • Which payment methods are supported by Wride?

    Currently, Wride supports cash/UPI payments. Note that fare is paid directly to the driver.

Privacy and Account Management

  • How is my personal information handled in the Wride app?

    Wride ensures the privacy and security of your personal information through encryption and secure data storage practices. Detailed information is available in our Privacy Policy.

  • How can I delete my account and personal information from Wride?

    You can delete your account and personal information through the app. We will process your request as per applicable data protection laws.

  • How long is my ride history stored in the app?

    Your ride history is stored in the Wride app for a minimum of one year. You can access and review your past rides anytime. 

Safety and Lost Items

  • What to do in case of an emergency?

    In case of an emergency during your ride, use the SOS button in the Wride app to contact local authorities.

    You can also use the share button to share the current trip with your contacts.

    Wride does a live tracking of the ongoing ride, thus, in case authorities requests we can provide the information as per the law.

  • How does Wride ensure safety for riders and drivers?

    Wride ensures safety through thorough background checks on drivers, in-app safety features, and 24/7 support.

  • How does Wride handle lost items?

    If you leave an item in a Wride vehicle, contact our support team with details of your ride and the item. We will assist you in recovering your lost item.
